PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device which has superior endurance against an external shock, stress, etc., and is made thin and electronic equipment using the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: Provided are a display panel, a flexible substrate which is mounted with an electronic component for driving the display panel and electrically connected to the display panel and extends along a surface of the display panel, and a flexible substrate support part which is provided opposite the flexible substrate and has an opening part or cut part formed at a position corresponding to the electronic component.
