COMMUNICATION KARAOKE TERMINAL FOR HANDLING USER INFORMATION BY INDIVIDUAL, AND MUSICAL PIECE SELECTING AND RESERVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication karaoke terminal capable of providing services based upon the use history which is as new as possible while reducing communication with a host device and the load placed on the host device itself. SOLUTION: The communication karaoke terminal is provided with: a means of communicating with the host device by using a global communication means and also communicating data to a musical piece selecting and reserving device by using a local communication means, receiving and temporarily storing from the host device user information corresponding to a user ID received from the musical piece selecting and reserving device according to the user ID, and also transferring the user information to the musical piece selecting and reserving device; a means of updating the temporarily stored user information of the user ID according to a use history by an indication accompanied by the user ID transferred from the musical piece selecting and reserving device; a means of receiving the user information accompanied by the user ID transferred from the musical piece selecting and reserving device and merging it with the temporarily stored user information of the user ID to generate merged user information; and a means of transmitting the merged user information to the host device together with the user ID.
