The device has a nonvolatile memory (140) accessed by a nonvolatile memory protocol. Two interface controllers are provided to convert orders of respective standard protocols using the nonvolatile memory protocol. A pin conducts a recognition signal indicating whether the standard protocols are used by a host which is coupled to the pin and which leads a data signal according to the standard protocols. An independent claim is also included for a method of setting interface by a mobile storing device.
