METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REFORMING FUEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reforming efficiency of an apparatus for reforming fuel and to reduce the maintenance cost of the apparatus.

SOLUTION: The method for reforming fuel comprises forming a hydrogen-enriched gas by subjecting a hydrocarbon-based fuel together with supercritical water or subcritical water to catalytic reaction in a reactor. The apparatus for reforming fuel is equipped with a reformer 22 for forming the hydrogen-enriched gas by subjecting the hydrocarbon-based fuel together with supercritical water or subcritical water to catalytic reaction.
