<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a sliding door by transmission maintaining force of a manually operable degree even in any state, in a door holding control device of a vehicular sliding door for movably holding the sliding door opened and closed by a motor, by required operation force from a stopping state. <P>SOLUTION: This door holding control device has the sliding door opened and closed by a sliding door moving mechanism, a clutch mechanism for intermittently transmitting motive power of a driving source to the sliding door moving mechanism, a movement detecting means for detecting the movement of the sliding door, and a clutch control means for adjusting the transmission maintaining force of the clutch mechanism. The clutch control means drives opening and closing of the sliding door by the motive power of the driving source, by adjusting the transmission maintaining force to a necessary minimum value required for stopping and holding the sliding door while monitoring output of the movement detecting means, and adjusting the transmission maintaining force to a value required for driving the opening and closing of the sliding door when the transmission maintaining force exceeds a predetermined level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
