<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fine damage of a film caused by the contact with a drive roller. <P>SOLUTION: The film 31 peeled from a band 27 is dried while fed by the drive roller. As the drive roller, a roller 35 on the side of a peel surface is more used as compared with a roller 36 on the side of a non-peeling surface and it is preferable to use the roller 35 on the side of the peel surface in all of cases. The roller 35 on the side of the peel surface and the roller 36 on the side of the non-peeling surface suck the film 31 by sucking air from openings 52 by a suction control means 51. The solvent content of the film 31 at the time of contact with the roller 35 on the side of the peel surface and the roller 36 on the side of the non-peeling surface is set to 20 wt.% or below. The obtained film 31 has no fine damage and can be continuously subjected to high speed film formation. Further, the polymer film made by this method is used to obtain a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display both of which are excellent in optical characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
