PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a wheelchair with a reliable lock. SOLUTION: A seat frame 20 of the wheelchair S has a window part 28, and a side wall (a side surface part) 115 of a wheelchair supporting base 111 is provided with a marking in yellow (hereinafter referred to as a discrimination part 116). The discrimination part 116 has an oval shape with the axial line extending along the inclination of the guiding surface, and an arc part of the upper part 116A of the discrimination part 116 is superposed on a window frame of the window part 28 (a prescribed positional relation) if the wheelchair S is positioned in a normal positional relation to the wheelchair supporting base 111. On the other hand, if the wheelchair S is not positioned in the normal positional relation to the wheelchair supporting base 111, the discrimination part 116 shifts from the window part 28, and is covered with the side wall 115. Therefore, a care provider can confirm whether the wheelchair S is in the normal positional relation to the wheelchair supporting base 111 by observing the window part 28 from the side of the wheelchair S visually.
