PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transparent toner which provides an image with excellent gloss even by high-speed low temperature fixing and which prevents damages in an image by changes in temperature and humidity, to provide an electrophotographic transparent developer including the toner, and to provide a gloss imparting apparatus using the developer. SOLUTION: The transparent toner is transferred and fixed on and around a color toner image formed on the surface of a recording medium, and the toner contains polyester resin by≥70 mass% of the whole binder resin component, the polyester resin containing≥90 mol% of an aromatic component with respect to the whole structural component derived from acids and 85 to 98 mol% of a straight-chain aliphatic diol with respect to the whole structural component derived from alcohols. A film formed of the polyester resin having 20μm thickness shows≤1.5% luminous reflectance. The polyester resin contains bisphenol S or bisphenol S alkylene oxide adduct in a range of 2 to 15 mol% with respect to the whole structural component derived from alcohols.
