PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic peroxide in high efficiency by oxidizing alkylbenzenes. SOLUTION: The method for producing the peroxide by oxidizing the alkylbenzenes has the following characteristics (1) to (3): (1) using at least n reactors (wherein, n is an integer of≥2); (2) feeding the fresh alkylbenzenes to inlets of the two or more reactors by dividing them; and (3) feeding a reaction product flowing out from the outlet of the mth reactor to the inlet of the (m+1)th reactor (wherein, m is an integer of≥1 and≤n-1).
