PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond band saw with cutting tips hardly coming off a belt and easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This diamond band saw 10 comprises a strip belt 12 having U-shaped slotted parts 14 and rectangular slotted parts 16. The cutting tip 18 is stuck into each rectangular slotted part 16. The cutting tip 18 is composed of a cutting part 18a and an extension part 18b. The extension parts 18b are arranged zigzag being alternately arranged on the same face side of the belt 12.
