PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect water leakage from a water supply means in a power-off state by making a standby power consumption almost zero in a dishwasher supplying water inside a washing tub and washing the dishes. SOLUTION: A power switching means 3 is serially connected to a power supply relay 2 which is serially connected to an AC power supply. The power switching means 3 controls a water supply valve 4 to supply water in the washing tub, a washing pump 7 injects wash water to the dishes, and a drain pump 6 drains the wash water in the washing tub. A water level switch 7 detects the water level in the washing tub, a control means 8 controls the operation by controlling the power switching means 3, and a starting switch 9 energizes the control means 8. The water level switch 7 is connected in parallel to the starting switch 9, and the starting switch 9 or the water level switch 7 starts the operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
