PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the floating of the edge of a trim cover on both sides of the rear part of a seat cushion as much as possible to achieve both of an improved appearance and avoidance of the interference with other members. SOLUTION: An attaching structure for the edge of a trim cover includes a protrusion 7 provided at a cushion frame 5 on the rear side of the seat cushion 3 and covered with a reclining base 6 fixed to the cushion frame 5, and a flat engagement means 9 having a long joint 8 substantially orthogonal to a drawing direction (a) of the trim cover 4 and connected to an edge portion 4a of the trim cover 4. After the base 6 is fixed to the frame 5, the engagement means 9 is engaged with the protrusion 7 to attach the trim cover 4. Thus the long part of the edge portion 4a of the trim cover 4 is prevented from being integrally drawn through the joint 8 and from being swollen outward by the reclining base 6.
