PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line-winder for a single-hook leader free from the problems of a conventional ladder-shaped or disk-shaped line-winder comprising the inconvenient operation of the storage of the hook and the winding of the leader, the difficult take-out of a hook by the entanglement of leader caused by the use of a paper line-winder for packaging an article provided with a single hook and a leader, and the troubles of the breakage of the leader and the sticking of the hook to the skin. SOLUTION: The main body of the line-winder has a cylindrical, square cylindrical or polygonal cylindrical shape which is quite different from the conventional winder. A V-shaped, jaggy or ridge-and-valley notch is formed on the upper circumference. Circular, square or polygonal rod members for fixing a hook-guiding line and fixing a line are formed on the circular or square cylinder of the main body in longitudinal direction. The hook is hooked on the hook-storing part directing the tip of the hook inward and the leader is wound on the longitudinal leader-guiding and line-fixing member to fix an end of the leader.
