PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for adjusting lawn mowing height, enabling ready, sure and precise adjustment to a definite reaping height, facilitating transportation to reaping site, being relatively inexpensive and capable of improving operation efficiency and to provide a lawn mower equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The mechanism for adjusting lawn-mowing height comprises a diameter-enlarging means for equally enlarging diameter of a roller R by detachably covering the circumference of the roller R. The diameter-enlarging means comprises, preferably, a plurality of divided bodies 1 for cylinder in which the cylinder covering the roller R is divided in a direction of an angle of circumference.
