<p>In an optical scanner for scanning reflection light from a reflection surface by varying an angle between the reflection surface for reflecting entered light and the direction of incidence of the entered light, intensity of the reflected light from the reflection surface is set to a proper level. In an optical scanner where a cross-sectional area corresponding to the reflection surface for incident light, or an area formed by projecting that area of the reflection surface into which the incident light enters, is varied depending on an angle of the reflection surface, intensity of the incident light is varied based on an angle of the reflection surface so that the intensity of reflected light from the reflection surface is not varied by variation in a reflection surface angle.</p> |
