Inspection chip (11) comprising structural color forming substrate (12) and, bound thereto, nucleic acid ligands (13). The nucleic acid ligands (13) are each constituted of a nucleic acid of high-order structure, such as RNA aptamer. The structural color forming substrate (12) is composed of support plate (21) and, fixed on a surface thereof, monomolecular film (25) of structural color former (23). The structural color former (23) is preferably constituted of a polypeptide containing basic amino acids. In that state, the monomolecular film (25) of the structural color forming substrate (12) has positive charges so as to be capable of electrostatic linkage with the nucleic acid ligands (13).
