<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garnet ferrite having reduced absolute value (α) of the temperature coefficient of 4πMs and reduced ferromagnetic resonance half-value width (ΔH) and an irreversible circuit element having low loss in the high frequency zone such as a microwave zone. <P>SOLUTION: The garnet ferrite for the irreversible circuit element is expressed by a composition formula, Y<SB>3-x-y</SB>Gd<SB>x</SB>Ca<SB>y</SB>Fe<SB>t-y-z</SB>D<SB>y</SB>Al<SB>z</SB>O<SB>12</SB>(D expresses one or more kinds of elements of Zr, Hf and Sn, each of x, y, z and t expressing a composition ratio is respectively in the range of 0≤x≤1.5, 0<y≤0.3 and 0≤z≤1.7and 4.75≤t≤5). An isolator 1 comprises a magnet assembled body arranged on the upper surface of a main body part composed of the garnet ferrite 5 so that center conductors 6A, 6B and 6C are intersected at a prescribed angle in an electrically insulated state, a magnet 7, a capacitor for matching and cases 2 and 3 each serving also as a yoke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
