INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system capable of simply transmitting and processing information data between information processors different in functionality for processing information data having different formats through a card-like storage medium.

SOLUTION: This information transmission system comprises: a plurality of information processors 2-11 for processing information data having formats different from one another; and a storage medium 1 having semiconductor storage elements for storing information data having a first format handled by a first information processor in its inside; and is characterized by reading the information data having the first format stored in the storage medium with file control information of the information data of the first format stored in the storage medium along with the information data of the first format to process them by a second information processor for processing information data having a second format.
