<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge sheet to a discharge tray by dissolving rolling-in of the sheet and eliminating the irregularity of order and paper jam without increasing the number of the parts. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a sheet discharge member (R1), a sheet presence detection sensor (1), a sheet rolling-in state determination means, and a discharge member rotation control means. The sheet discharge member (R1) is normally and reversely rotatable and discharges the sheet (S) to the discharge tray (TRh). The sheet presence detection sensor (1) detects the sheet (S) discharged to the discharge tray (TRh). The sheet rolling-in state determination means determines that it is the sheet rolling-in state having the sheet (S) rolled in the sheet discharge member (R1) when the sheet presence detection sensor (1) detects the presence of the sheet after the rear end of the sheet (S) passes through the sheet discharge member (R1). The discharge member rotation control means reversely drives to rotate the sheet discharge member (R1) in the reverse direction relative to the sheet discharge direction when it is determined to be the rolling-in state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
