<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of formed images (productivity) per unit-hour when images are continuously formed on a plurality of recording sheets without increase in conveyance speed of the recording sheets in the image forming device which forms images after correcting skew of the recording sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The two of the first vertical conveyance roller 40 and the fourth vertical conveyance roller 46 among first-fourth vertical conveys rollers 40-46 which conveys the recording sheets S fed from a sheet feed cassette 18 to the image forming portion 8 are set for a registering roller. The recording sheet Sa of the odd number corrects skew by using the first vertical conveyance roller 40, and the recording sheet Sb of the even number corrects skew by using the fourth vertical conveyance roller 46. When the skew correction of both the recording sheets completes, the respective first-fourth vertical conveyance rollers 40-46 start driving at the timing so that the interval of both the record sheets may become a minimum interval L0 technically required for conveying sheets to convey the recording sheets to the image forming portion 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
