<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module comprising a solar cell sandwiched by planar resin substrates in which an interconnector is protected against fatigue fracture due to thermal expansion/contraction of the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: Since a sealing material layer and a planar substrate are not bonded but made movable, thermal expansion/contraction of the planar substrate is not transmitted to a solar cell or an interconnector and the interconnector can be protected against fracture. In order to prevent adhesion of the sealing material layer and the planar substrate, a film may be interposed or a nonvolatile fluid layer may be provided between the sealing material layer and the planar substrate. When a composite material of resin and glass is employed in the planar substrate, thermal expansion/contraction can be suppressed. Expansion/contraction can be absorbed by combining sealing materials having different elastic modulus. Elongation/contraction of the sealing material can be suppressed by admixing inorganic fine particles into the sealing material layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
