PROGRAM EXECUTION DEVICE AND AUTHENTICATION STATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program execution device for securely executing programs by preventing unauthorized alteration and analysis.

SOLUTION: The program execution device includes; a processing means to be operated in accordance with a first and a second computer program and for controlling the operation in accordance with instructions from an external device; a first protection means for disconnecting the processing means from the external device while the processing means is operated in accordance with the first computer program; and a second protection means for protecting the first computer program while the processing means is operated in accordance with the second computer program. Thus, the program execution device protects the programs against an attack by external hardware as well as the attack by software.
