<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a torque converter capable of enhancing a fuel efficiency in a simple structure and of obtaining excellent starting responsiveness by preventing a shock at the time of restart of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device for a torque converter is equipped with a hydraulic clutch 2 provided to an automatic transmission 20 so as to be switchable between a neutral range and a running range of the automatic transmission 20, a torque converter 1 interposed between an engine 10 and the automatic transmission 20 to transmit torque of the engine 10 to the automatic transmission 20, and a torque transmission amount control means for increasing or reducing the torque transmission amount by the torque converter 1. In the torque transmission amount control means, the torque transmission amount is increased after engagement of the hydraulic clutch 2 while reducing the torque transmission amount by the torque converter 1 at the time of automatic restart of the engine 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
