ORGANIC PIGMENT OR DYE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND TONER FOR COPYING MACHINE, AQUEOUS INK, OILY INK, OR HAIR DYE GIVEN BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic pigment or dye, by utilizing an ink sac of a cuttlefish, without disposing thereof, and extracting fine particles containing a black or dark brown melanin dyestuff, and to provide a raw material for a toner for a copying machine, an aqueous ink, an oily ink, or a hair dye given by using the same.

SOLUTION: This organic pigment or dye comprises a powder having a particle diameter of≤1μm and obtained from the ink sac of the cuttlefish. A method for producing the organic pigment or dye comprises drying the ink sac of the cuttlefish, powdering the dried sac, and washing the powdered sac to obtain the cuttlefish ink, and subjecting the obtained cuttlefish ink to enzymatic reaction with a protease or a lipase.
