PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable injection molded item which has high rigidity and high elongation and is excellent in biodegradability. SOLUTION: This biodegradable injection molded item is obtained from a polyoxalate of the formula. It has tensile modulus of not less than 1 GPa and tensile elongation at break of not less than 100%. In the formula, R is an alkylene group having 3-12 carbon atoms in the main chain which can contain a branching structure or an alicyclic structure and n is a positive integer representing the degree of polymerization.
