PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel while preventing water from being mixed with liquid crystal even in the case of a large-sized mother board and further with good productivity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the liquid crystal display panel includes a seal material arrangement step of arraying a seal material on a main surface of one or both of substrates to be laminated together, a liquid crystal dripping step of dripping liquid crystal on one of the two substrates, and a laminating step of laminating the two substrates together, wherein a degassing step in which the substrate where at least the liquid crystal should be dripped, between the two substrates, is arranged in a pressure reduced atmosphere before the liquid crystal dripping step, and a releasing step in which the pressure reduced atmosphere is released with inert gas before the laminating step, are included.
