PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram recording method capable of shortening recording time in the case of multiple recording of data of a plurality of pages and capable of preventing unevenness in diffraction efficiency independently of multiplicity. SOLUTION: In the case of multiple recording of data of a plurality of pages. exposure time for each page is changed so that diffraction efficiencies of holograms of a plurality of pages are made equal, and exposure time for a hologram of the last page recorded is made fixed independently of multiplicity, accordingly even with data different in multiplicity, diffraction efficiencies of holograms of pages are made equal and unevenness in diffraction efficiency is prevented.
