PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article with texture gentle to the skin and with a high leak proof property, which does not easily become musty. SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 is composed of a vertically long absorptive main body 10 provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid leak proof back surface sheet 3 and a liquid holding absorbent 4 interposed between them, and an exterior body 5 positioned on the back surface sheet side of the absorptive main body to fix the absorptive main body. In the absorptive article 1, the back surface sheet 3 is moisture permeable, and for the absorptive main body 10, the practically entire area of parts excluding both side edge parts in the longitudinal direction and front and rear end parts is adhered to the exterior body 5 with an adhesive 31 intermittently applied in a stripe shape.
