PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for activating a lawn field, by which organic nutritious soil effects, water and oxygen are effectively and sufficiently given to the lawn field such as a schoolyard, a golf course, or a stadium to efficiently improve the activity of the lawn, while avoiding the damage to the lawn as much as possible. SOLUTION: The method for activating the lawn field is characterized by forming linear grooves k1 having a depth of about 5 to 15 cm and a width of about 10 to 25 mm in a pitch of about 10 to 25 cm in a lawny field, supplying organic nutritious soil (y) into the grooves k1, pressing the organic nutritious soil (y) from the upper side, and then spreading and leveling soil g1 dug up to form the grooves k1 on the pressed ground g.
