A self loading truck for transporting skips or containers has support rails (3) running from the rear of the load surface to the rear of the cab and with a raised section over the rear wheels. The front edge of the skip/container is supported on a trolley (2) which moves the load onto and from the truck. Skips are secured by special clamps and containers are secured by twist locks on outriggers secured each side of the chassis.
