DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A detergent composition characterized by containing a combination of an N-acylaspartic acid or salt thereof, an N-acyldiaspartic acid or salt thereof in which the N-acyl group has a molecular structure common with that of the N-acylaspartic acid or salt, and a higher fatty acid or salt thereof which has an alkyl group common with the N-acyl residue. The detergent composition lathers creamily and has excellent detergency. After rinsing, the detergent composition gives a fresh skin feeling without giving a stretched skin feeling. It further has excellent storage stability and undergoes none of a decrease in properties, precipitation, and yellowing even in long-term storage.
