Bone plates (50) with an upper surface (54), a bone contacting surface (56), and at least one hole (52) extending through the upper and bone contact surfaces (54, 56)are disclosed. A hole interchangeably accepts a compression screw for compression of a fracture and a locking screw that threads into th e bone plate.
