摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a positive electrode mixture for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery wherein superior battery characteristics are provided even under severer using environments.

SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material for the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is constituted so that it is the positive active material for the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having at least a lithium transition metal compound oxide of spinel structure, and so that the concentration of tetravalent elements existing on the surface of the lithium transition metal compound oxide is larger than the one of tetravalent elements existing inside the lithium transition metal compound oxide.
