<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable having a sheath easily torn and free from the possibility that the cable with the torn sheath does not satisfy the characteristics of a cable defined by the standard such as JIS. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 comprises a plurality of insulative wire cores each formed by covering a conductor 5 with a insulator 6, and a sheath 2 for covering the insulative wire cores put side by side, wherein the sheath 3 is formed in two layers of an outer layer 3a and an inner layer 3b, and an incomplete fusion field 7 is formed in the inner layer 3b so as to extend between the insulative wire cores 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
