<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which can record good images by preventing generation of crater-like defects at a recording face of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder 1 which records images by discharging ink to the recording medium 2 is equipped with a heating roller 23 for heating the recording medium 2.
