<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter applied with an unnoticed antifalsification measure having a specification hard to comprehend, the forgery and duplication of which are difficult and further which does not mar design effects, and its genuineness judging method. <P>SOLUTION: In the printed matter 1, a parallel line pattern moire pattern 12, which is formed by shifting the phase between one latent image part and the remaining non-latent image part, from both of which a parallel line pattern consists, by 1/2 pitches, is formed on a substrate 10 in an ink containing an infrared absorbing substance so as to apply an infrared absorbing substance-free black-based covering layer 14 for covering the parallel line pattern moire pattern 12 in order to apply the antifalsification measure. In order to judge the genuineness of the matter, by piling up an infrared absorbing parallel line pattern film 30 on the printed matter, the latent image part of the parallel line pattern moire pattern 12 is imageably actualized in an infrared verifier 40 for detecting the infrared absorbing substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
