<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide module which easily detects the intensity of incident light and is superior in high integration. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a light emission part 30, a substrate 10, a clad 12 formed on the substrate 10, and a 1st core 20 and a 2nd core 24 which are covered with the clad 12 and are formed of materials having higher refractive index than the clad 12; and a 1st reflecting surface which reflects light incident form the light emission part 30 in the guide direction of the 1st core 20 to optically couple the light is formed as an incidence-side end 22 of the 1st core 20 and a 2nd reflecting surface which reflects light incident form the light emission part 30 in the guide direction of the 2nd core 24 to optically couple the light is formed as an incidence-side end part 26 of the 2nd core 24. Consequently, the light incident on the incidence-side end part 22 of the 1st core 20 from the light emission part 30 is guided in a 1st direction and the light incident on the incidence-side end part 26 of the 2nd core 24 is guided in a 2nd direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
