<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching a membership card and a system of the same by which switching is performed without troubling a playing customer and a clerk when using a reissued new membership card at another store. <P>SOLUTION: First, a switchover processing flag indicating switchover processing in which membership information registered in a member ship data base in association with the card ID of an old membership card is registered associated with the card ID of a new membership card, and the card ID of the old membership card are recorded in the new membership card.
