<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective method for immobilization of nucleic acids, to provide a method for detecting the nucleic acids and using the method for immobilization, and to provide reagents applied in the method and a kit corresponding thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The method for immobilizing nucleic acid comprises hybridizing the nucleic acid with a capture probe, wherein the capture probe is protected against the enzymatic extension and/or enzymatic degradation of the formed hybrid. The method for detecting the nucleic acid and using the method of immobilization is provided.
