PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction drive mechanism having improved sound vibrating performance and durability. SOLUTION: The reduction drive mechanism comprises an electric motor 5 for outputting driving force, a first reduction mechanism 33 consisting of a planetary carrier 63 for reducing the driving force to be output, a planetary gear 65 rotatably supported by the planetary carrier 63, an internal gear 67 meshing with the planetary gear 65, and a sun gear 69, and a second reduction mechanism 35 located between the electric motor 5 and the first reduction mechanism 33 in the axial direction for reducing the output of the first reduction mechanism 33 to be output to a rear differential device 37.
