PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the pressure resistance of a brazing and soldering part of a minute plate fin type compact heat exchanger, and to solve a problem of conventional technology by improving the strength of the minute plate fin. SOLUTION: In an offset fin used in the plate fin type heat exchanger, a base material having a three layered structure of a brazing filler metal/base material/brazing filler metal is used as an offset fin plate, a brazing filler metal sheet is inserted between the plate and a separator and melted to braze and solder the plate and the separator, and its entire surface is coated with a brazing layer.
