PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment surely fixing a display means at a housing place. SOLUTION: In the electronic equipment, an arcuate sliding surface 6e centering around the pivotal attaching section of the display means 4 is formed to a box body 1, in which the display means 4 is attached pivotally at the place of an erection and the place of the housing in a freely tilting manner, and a damper 6j generating a friction in the display means 4 is mounted on the display means 4 side by a sliding with the sliding surface 6e. Even in the electronic equipment in which an engaging section 6k, with which the damper 6j is engaged when the display means 4 is positioned at the housing place, is formed to the sliding surface 6e, and a part of the display means 4 is projected from the box body 1 because the display means 4 is enlarged, the display means 4 housed at the place of the housing is fixed surely.
