PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which does not give rise to surface staining in spite of formation by spray coating, an image forming apparatus mounted with the electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic process using the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is laminated and formed with at least an intermediate layer, a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer in this order by spray coating on a cylindrical aluminum support, in which the intermediate layer is an inorganic pigment dispersed layer and the surface of the aluminum support has an anodized alumite layer formed by anodic oxidation.
