摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical external force detecting device, in which external force is calculated based on a signal from an optical displacement sensor, solving the difficulty in the wire routing of the optical displacement sensor and facilitating the alignment of the optical axis of a light source with that of a light-receiving device, in the optical displacement sensor. SOLUTION: The optical displacement sensor 29 comprises the light source 26, an optical sensor 28, and a reflector 27. The light source 26 and the optical sensor 28 are provided in a force-receiving section 23, and the reflector 27 is provided in a support section 22. By making the light emitted from the light source 26 reflect at the reflector 27 and then receive by the optical sensor 28, relative displacement of the force-receiving section 23 with respect to the support section 22 is detected.
