PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate structure for use in stoves, having a function of a footman which can suppress temperature rise in a frame body and on which an object A to be heated can be mounted stably. SOLUTION: A heat generating means 1 for heating the object A to be heated is provided inside a frame body 2. A burning opening 4 is provided in the center of a top plate 3 mounted on an upper part of the frame body 2. A recessed juice receiving dish 5 is formed integrally with the top plate 3 on the periphery of the burning opening 4. On the upper face of the top plate 3, a plurality of protrusions 6 are formed radially outward from the burning opening 4 and integrally with the top plate 3. An opening 7 is formed on the upper face of the protrusions 6. The hot gas generated inside the frame body 2 is guided to the protrusions 6, and the hot gas flowing along the protrusions 6 is discharged from the burning opening 4 and the opening 7 to the outside of the frame body 2 to maintain the frame body 2 and top plate 3 at a low temperature. An end 7a of the opening 7 is contact with the object A to be heated mounted on the protrusions 6 so that the object A to be heated does not slip on the protrusions 6.
