PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase improved in its energy saving effect, and further to provide a showcase capable of easily checking an overflow catch pan. SOLUTION: In this showcase comprising a compressor 6 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 7 ventilated by the rotation of a fan 7b for the condenser also used for evaporating the drain water, to condense the refrigerant, and a refrigeration cycle 3 having an evaporator 5 for cooling the inside of a storage room, a detecting sensor 8c is mounted to detect a water level of an evaporation tray 8 for evaporating the drain water, the fan 7b for the condenser is controlled to be forcibly rotated even during the stop on the basis of the information on the water level detected by the detecting sensor 8c, and the air is sent to the evaporation tray 8 to accelerate the evaporation of the drain water.
