PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of adjusting the volume of sound without separately providing an adjusting part. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a refrigerator main body filled with a heat insulating material between an outer case and an inner case, a door 2a for sealing a front opening of the main body 1 freely to open/close, a plurality of operation buttons 20 provided inside the door 2a or inside the main body 1 to adjust the set temperature inside the refrigerator and to select the quick cooling operation or the like, a speaker 12 for generating operation sound of the operation buttons 20 and an alarm sound when the door is opened for the predetermined time, and a control device 30 for supplying voltage to the speaker 12 to generate the sound. The control device 20 adjusts the volume of the sound by changing the voltage to be supplied to the speaker on the basis of an input signal formed by combination of operation of the operation buttons 20.
