PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve structure having good relief operation while preventing rapid pressure drop in a pump such as an oil pump mounted with a relief valve during the relief operation. SOLUTION: The relief valve structure comprises the relief valve 11, a valve housing 8 having a valve passage 8a where the relief valve 11 slides, a relief flow-in part 9 formed at one end of the valve housing 8, and a relief discharge part 10 formed in the valve passage 8a of the valve housing 8 in the state of communicating a small opening portion 10a with a large opening portion 10b.
