PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tantalum metal powder-dispersing liquid which is used for the wet compaction of an anode element for a tantalum electrolytic capacitor, and less liable to reduce the capacitance even when the diameter of the tantalum metal powder is decreased with a thinning trend of the film of the element. SOLUTION: The tantalum metal powder-dispersing liquid used in forming an anode element is prepared by using the tantalum metal powder which has a median diameter in particle size distribution of 15μm or less by a volume base, and has a 0.07 cc/g or more integrated volume of the pores with sizes of 1μm or less when measured with a mercury porosimeter, a solvent and a solvent-soluble binder resin.
