PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper supply device capable of saving a space without occupying a waste space behind the device and operating smoothly without applying load when turning the device. SOLUTION: A paper loading unit 30 is connected with a main body 10 by inserting a shaft 31 provided on an upper face and a bottom face along a vertical rotary axis at its center into a bearing 14 provided in the main body 10. The paper loading unit 30 is constituted in such a way that its center of gravity agrees with the vertical rotary axis. A door 36 for supplying paper is provided on a side face of the paper loading unit 30, and a paper supply port 37 is exposed by releasing it. The paper supply port 37 faces the opposite direction to the direction of supply of paper P by a supply means 20.
